Events listed below are held regularly each week or month. Occasionally an event might be cancelled or might not run, so please use the contact information supplied to check if an event is running or if you wish to attend for the first time.

There are also regular groups meeting that are for members only.

The following village hall timeslots are currently available:

Main Hall from 12.30pm to 4.00pm; lounge from 4.00pm to 7.30pm.

Main Hall from 3.30pm to 6.00pm.

Main Hall from 8.30am to 11.00am (no loud music permitted).

'Metafit' Exercise Class
7.00pm to 8.00pm
£3.00 per session. This is a new and effective fat burning class for everyone. It is suitable for all abilities. See Facebook 'Metafit South Leicester'. Please note that every second Monday of each month the Metafit class will be held at another location - please call to confirm.

Countesthorpe Village Hall 10.00am till 12.00noon.
Warm-up exercises, Qi Gong and Yang Style forms in a friendly environment. Beginners and improvers of all ages and levels of fitness welcome. Call 0116 247 7212 for further information.

U3A – University of the third age
Second Tuesday in the month - 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
Our aim is to provide retired people with opportunities to acquire and share knowledge and experience in a friendly and relaxed environment. We have nearly 400 members participating in more than 30 group activities. The groups embrace a hugely diverse range of activities from Art to Walking. We are noted for our friendliness and accessibility, as you will find if you attend any of our monthly meetings or other activities. Visitors are always welcome, just come along..

U3A Pilates
This is open to members at a cost of £5.00 per one hour session. We meet every Tuesday (except for the second Tuesday of the month) at 2.00pm. Please check on the U3A website for Christmas and holiday arrangements.

Parish Council Meeting
2nd Thursday in the month in the Village Hall at 7.30pm. The Parish Council meeting is a regular monthly meeting which is open to the public. The meeting is adjourned in the early stages of the meeting for 15 minutes to let members of the public to speak on any issue. More information on the Countesthorpe Parish Council pages. Rainbow Shop - every Saturday 10.00am to 3.00pm
To the left of St Andrew’s Church, (facing the church) is open each morning and Saturday from 10am to 3pm for tea, coffee etc. Fair Trade goods also sold. Pop in for company and a chat. The Rainbow Shop also sells cards and good as new used clothes and many other things. Proceeds go to charities generally overseas.
