'Metafit' Exercise Class

£3.00 per session. This is a new and effective fat burning class for everyone. It is suitable for all abilities. See Facebook 'Metafit South Leicester'. Please note that every second Monday of each month the Metafit class will be held at another location - please call to confirm.

U3A – University of the third age
Second Tuesday in the month - 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
Our aim is to provide retired people with opportunities to acquire and share knowledge and experience in a friendly and relaxed environment. We have nearly 400 members participating in more than 30 group activities. The groups embrace a hugely diverse range of activities from Art to Walking. We are noted for our friendliness and accessibility, as you will find if you attend any of our monthly meetings or other activities. Visitors are always welcome, just come along..

Drop in Centre for Bereaved People
1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at The Rainbow Shop between 2:30pm and 3.30pm. St Andrew’s Church is running a drop in Centre for bereaved people, so come and have a drink and a friendly chat with people who are experienced or trained bereavement counsellors. Transport may be available for some. See location and contact details for The Rainbow Shop. Starts Wednesday 16th September.

Parish Council Meeting
2nd Thursday in the month in the Village Hall at 7.30pm. The Parish Council meeting is a regular monthly meeting which is open to the public. The meeting is adjourned in the early stages of the meeting for 15 minutes to let members of the public to speak on any issue. More information on the Countesthorpe Parish Council pages. Messy Hands

Rainbow Shop - every Saturday 10.00am to 3.00pm
To the left of St Andrew’s Church, (facing the church) is open each morning and Saturday from 10am to 3pm for tea, coffee etc. Fair Trade goods also sold. Pop in for company and a chat. The Rainbow Shop also sells cards and good as new used clothes and many other things. Proceeds go to charities generally overseas.

Messy Church - every third Saturday in the month 4.00pm to 6.00pm
Everyone of any age is welcome to join us for Messy Church at St Andrew's, Countesthorpe. The monthly 'Messy meetings' offer a different approach to church where all ages can enjoy being creative, eat dinner together, get to know other people and experience church in a way that you might never have encountered it before!
