Countesthorpe Village Hall and library in bloom.
Hire our main hall to celebrate your event, hold a function
or large meeting. When you hire our hall it includes use of
our large kitchen (see below), which services the hall via
the double-sized hatch.
The main hall is approximately 12 metres by 15 metres. The
maximum capacity is 175 people.
There are twenty round tables (112 cm in diameter) and twenty
three rectangular tables (76 cm x 182 cm), with sufficient
chairs for all your guests or delegates.
Our main hall with the side lights provides subdued lighting
to give a special atmosphere to your party.
The ceiling mounted projector and screen, with a connection
point for your laptop, enables you to show photos or give
a PowerPoint presentation. There is also an audio connection
to the large wall mounted speakers for music via your laptop;
we can provide a hand mike, mike stand or mobile mike for
use with our music centre.
We do not provide catering or entertainment for your function,
however we do have a list of providers used by previous hirers.
We also have a music centre where you can play your CDs.
Wedding Reception Venue
Our main hall is suitable for wedding receptions. Two table arrangements are shown below.
Bookings for a Saturday evening include our lounge and bar.
Our lounge and bar is also available, for hire with the main
hall, on a Friday or Sunday.
